Rules

Here are the rules. Don't worry they are pretty painless and easy to understand.

1.NO godmodding. Do not play with other peoples' characters unless you have their permission to do so.

2. Unless you are in the mature group and on the mature boards, please keep the content PG-13. Also if you are wanting to cuss, try not to use overly vulgar language, however there will be more earth cusses, due to the early nature of this Pern. And no Faranth does not exist.

3. There is no posting limit. You can write as little or as much as you please. Keep in mind though that a well written, longer post gives the person you are rping with more to reply to. Plus it makes the thread more interesting and in depth. I won't yell at anyone for one liners. I understand muses die and what not, but please don't keep replying with one liners all the time. It gets very boring.

4.Please don't make perfect characters. They aren't interesting, nobody wants to play with them. So just don't do it. Flaws is what gives characters a true personality and makes them more real for anyone reading about them.

5. No power playing. If you want an all powerful character that can command anyone with a wink of their eye and be able to take over the entire world then you're going to have to go look someplace else to play them. They won't work here.

6. There is a character limit of ten starting off. Once a member reaches 300 Points you can make one more character. At 550 Points the character limit is dropped and you are free to make as many chars as you wish.

7. Now here's the big, shocking rule. No one pass out. Once you make a character consider them accepted. If there is a problem with them then an admin will contact you about it. Otherwise once they are made you can start playing with them. No waiting around. This does not include Sled Pilots or High Ranking Colonists. Please PM all Sled Pilot and High Ranking Colonist profiles to an admin before you play them. If you don’t know if what you have is a High Ranking Colonists PM it to us and we’ll be able to tell you.

8. As far pets go, there is a limit of four, though it is preferred that not all four pets are fire lizards or all four dragonets or canines. Felines aren’t generally pets, more used for pest control. There are an unlimited number of Dragonets to be had but, firelizards have only recently come into existence. Please check out the Firelizard Genealogy to see if there are any firelizards to be claimed.

9. At the moment there will be no Dragons until the egg hatch. Until then there are no dragonriders.



Dragon Rules [In Play after the eggs hatch]

1. There is no over all limit on any dragon colour on the site. That's right, not even golds or bronzes. I will be a bit more picky on golds and who they get them.. However this does not mean you can have nine gold riders and ten bronze riders. There is a limit of one gold per player, unless you are past the 550 Points, then you can have a max of two golds.

2. I'm sure you are all wondering how the clutches are going to work with so many golds around. This is how it's going to be. Well some golds may hatch sterile. On top of that, with so many golds about the clutch sizes will span between 5 and 15 eggs. No more than fifteen eggs will ever be clutched.

3. As of right now, women only ride golds and men only ride bronzes. This could be subject to change later. For the browns, blues, and greens, both gender can impress them and they can be any orientation. Please note however that female brownriders would probably be homosexual or bisexual, same with blue female riders.
