I've been waiting all my life to love you [Roman]

IC Month: Mid Winter, Month 7
IC Setting: Deep thick snow coats the ground, chilly temperatures and wind, followed by cold nights.

Kita cradled the little bundle in her arms, never has she felt a love so fierce in her life, besides that which she felt for Roman. She marveled at how she could feel so strongly for another person. For a month early she was a strong thing, surprising all when she took quite strongly to breastfeeding normally. Kita was certainly glad for that as somehow her daughter had helped keep her secret. She had been panicked when labour started, but seeing as now she was all okay, Kita was more relaxed.

Roman had been there, he had been her rock in what for her had been the most painful experience of her life time. Some minor complications had prolonged the labour and in the wee hours of the morning some 30 hours after it had begun she had brought a beautiful baby girl into the world. Roman had stuck through it all with her, he had not slept nor moved from her side. Cadmuth had even been somewhat encouraging, though it had taken some to tell him not to try and scare the baby girl when finally she went to sleep.

Kita had slept for a long time, then again so had her baby girl. Well now that wouldn't do she thought, she couldn't just keep calling her baby girl. She had to find a name.. but what she didn't quite know.. She had one.. but she didn't really know if it would fit. Perhaps Roman could give some insight, she couldn't deny to herself that he wasn't the father but to everyone else she couldn't do that.. No.. not yet.. Her mother and Lesla knew.. but she had sworn them both to secrecy.

Her eyes fell to the child in her arms, she was struck by how much she looked like neither of them. She had blue eyes, but so many babies had them that she doubted they would stay. Even though both she and Roman had Blue eyes and a lack of hair meant that neither Roman's dark blonde hair or Kita's black hair were discernible as of yet. Leaning back against the wall, she was glad having been a candidate had kept her in Caldera, she didn't know if she could have coped being so far from medical help to have the baby. She was safe though and so was her daughter, at the moment she was alone, but she knew it wouldn't be long till Roman returned. It had taken Kita threatening to call Mikhael before he had finally left her. However he was worrying over her like she had never seen and she kinda found it sweet, wishing.. oh how she wished.. that she could just tell him everything.. but she couldn't.

This is how she stayed, daughter asleep on her chest lost in complex though.
