Description: Damien is your typical teenager. He's lean and lanky, not yet fully grown into himself. Long limbs often make him look awkward though enable him to run decently fast. Dark hair and dark eyes just like his mother, and often times seems as if he's looking through a person rather than at them.

Personality: He's always been a thinker, working through a situation before actually going through with it. He has an uncanny sort of intuition, which often manifests as knowing when to speak and when to remain silent. Damien also has this mode he can go into he refers to as being still, or perching somewhere and being perfectly still for long periods of time. This has come from years diving into his art to escape reality.

Around members of the opposite sex, however, he becomes dangerously compulsive and often runs at the mouth. This often times gets him into trouble with his peers and mother. As of yet he hasn't had trouble with this compulsive behavior outside of those females within his age range, but it remains to be seen rather or not this behavior will become stronger as he gets older.

History: Damien was born to Donovan and Jassette Sun just as the leaves were turning colors on t he trees. As their only child he was overprotected and doted upon by all members of his family. When his father died and left his mother and himself in the middle of a family fued Damien withdrew, turning to art in order to keep his mind off the problems facing his mother.

When the option to leave came up and he and his mother left Earth it came as a relief to both of them. Though he was young at the time Damien realized that moving to a new place would be good for his mother. Loosing his father had hurt her deeply, and a young Damien wanted nothing more than for his mother to be happy again.

Years spent on Pern under his mother's watchful gaze have done wonders. Damien has grown up wonderfully, and though he is still in a learning stage he is quickly becoming a fairly decent young man. He's still interested in helping map out their new world since he likes to draw, but is interested in learning about the care and health of the large dragons that have recently been created.
