Yes for the fourth time now..

Just found out today [17th December] that my sister had a baby boy; he was born emergency c-section cause my sister had what we can only assume to be a placental abruption. Haven't heard much more than this; the only reason I say placental abruption is because we were told she started bleeding and was taken to the hospital.

I will gush more about my nephew when I find out his name; birth weight and all the other nitty gritty little details all you girls [generally those with kids already] want to know. ^.^ and the guys too if they want to know..

Well.... I have more information... and well... some of it is horrifying..

My nephew was born at 10:05am via emergency c-section because he was in distress. He was born weighing 2.7kg or 5.9lbs and was 47cm or 18.5 inches long. He's healthy and my sister is doing well..

That is not the horrifying part... this is..

She named him Draeden... what possessed her to I have no idea... but it's terrible..

Even worse.... she spelt it Dredon..

I'm still in shock over what he has been named.. His middle names are after his father and grandfather... which is fine... but Dredon?? my sisters choice in names never ceases to amaze and horrify me..

Take for instance my nieces..

Ayeisha is my eldest niece... my sister spelt it Ayeiesha
My middle niece is relatively normal being Sierra..
My youngest niece is Mia... however my sister didn't like that spelling and changed it to Meiha...

Now... Dredon... oh god it's bad.. my poor poor nephew..

hm....I don't think it would have been bad if she'd kept it at Draedon....but I have to agree with you....Dredon doesn't seem the best name, does it?

Sierra is good....Mia would have been good if not for the spelling...Ayeisha with the normal spelling isn't bad either. I have to agree with you though...

BUT at least they're both doing well, and that's the most important part.
