Description: Auguste is average height, standing at about 5'11, and slender. He has pale skin and has to be careful about being in the sun too long because he is prone to sunburns. He has somewhat delicate features with sculpted cheekbones. Auguste has a unique style and likes to add personal details to his clothes. He tries to dress punk, well as punk as you can be with the resources on Pern. He is always experimenting with his hair, adding different highlights and trying different styles and cuts.

Personality: Auguste is a vibrant, energetic person. He doesn't like to sit still for long and he is a doer, not a thinker. Sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes not. He is friendly and he loves to talk. Shy is not part of his vocabulary unless it comes to someone he is attracted to. He is a people person and thrives when he is around others. Auguste likes to help people feel better about themselves, whether through a new hairstyle or just talking.

He can be a bit of a drama queen. Auguste does nothing halfway, including emotions. When he gets sad, he sulks for days. When he gets angry, his temper is a dangerous thing.

History: Auguste was born on Earth in Paris, France. His childhood on Earth is mostly a blur now. He had a good childhood. Even though his father abandoned the family when he was a baby, his mother, Amandine, took great care of him. Amandine was a well known environmental activist on Earth and she wanted to be part of the Pern expedition to help create a new society.

On Pern, Amandine became an elementary teacher while Auguste did what he could to help build their new home. He loved Pern and viewed the move as a great adventure. He could pursue whatever he wanted to do, so he followed his interest in fashion and hair and became a hairdresser when he turned 17.

Auguste was with his mother when Thread began to fall. Her brown dragonet started panicking and urging them to go inside, which they did. They were both safe from Thread but witnessed the loss of many others. Auguste was chilled to the bone by the sight of Thread and ever since he has sworn to do whatever he could to protect Pern from the menace. He was given ample opportunity when he was named a candidate for the clutch of 25.

Description: Cloud is a dainty blue. His hide is a light sky blue, flecked with spots of navy on his wings. He also has a stripe of bright blue on his tail.

Personality: Cloud is very shy around strangers. He is a timid creature and he panics easily. He is very affectionate towards Auguste and anyone else who earns his trust, but he will hide from people he doesn't know.
