Breakfast? What's that?(open)

Even after three years, Fiona hadn't quite gotten used to Blaze's changes in moods. She woke, after only a few hours sleep, feeling restless and edgy. The dreams hadn't been unpleasant, but...well, waking up alone had been, or so she'd felt this morning.
That thought made her realize that she had better check the calendar. She knew Blaze hadn't gone off to rise in a while. It would probably be soon, Fiona had gone through this before.
The dragonet jumped off the bed as Fiona woke, winging upward toward the ceiling. Just before she hit the hard stone overhead, she went between.
Fiona winced. No, not today, but probably within a sevenday or so, if experience was any indication.
Pushing her tangled red hair out of her face, she looked toward the entrance. Light was leaking under the door, and she heard people's voices. Giving up on any further sleep, she shoved her blanket off, getting up.
Zoology, thankfully, was a job that gave her plenty else to think about; even without her recent agreement to stand as a candidate for Impression, when the first dragon eggs hatched.
She washed up and dressed, heading for the Dining Cavern. The morning routine helped somewhat. Clean, and presentable, she went out to face the day. She would usually have gone straight to work, and eaten later, but if she was going to deal with a full day's work plus a moody dragonet, she was going to get klah first.

Silv was used to going without much sleep, whether it was because Henry woke him up, he was up with a sick animal, or Ivy wouldn't stop bothering him. A groggy breakfast had become part of his morning routine, and this morning was no different. He yawned as he walked into the dining cavern with Ivy perched on his shoulder, chirping her demand for food.

"Calm down. Me first, then you," he told her. He could tell from their link that she wasn't too hungry. He poured himself a cup of klah, sighing in relief when he took the first sip. "Ah, klah. The elixir of the gods," he muttered, pouring himself a bowl of oatmeal before going to find a seat.

He looked around and noticed Fiona. They had worked together a few times before. "Hi, Fiona. How are you doing?" he asked, walking up to her.

Fiona looked up, with a smile that brightened her eyes, at seeing him.
"G'morning, Silvester. Oh, a bit lagged, but managing. And yourself?" she asked. She gave Ivy a welcoming wave, too. "You don't look as if you got any more rest than did I." Her tone was thoughtful, rather than holding any criticism. "Everything going alright?"

She pushed out a chair for him, without even thinking about it. Company was always welcome, though if he wanted quiet or time to himself while he ate, she wouldn't be offended.
