Description: Lesla's hair is very long. Her hair is very silky and shiny that any girl would envy. She usually has her hair braided. However, once in a while, she lets her hair fall freely down her back. But then of course Roman would mess it all up when he is being an annoying big brother and Lesla would end up putting her hair away in a braid in no time at all. During the day, one would notice that Lesla's hair has a bluish tint. However, at night, her hair is the blackest there is.

Lesla has big round deep blue eyes. Her eyes are very expressive that one would know her true feelings right away no matter how much she hides them behind a smiling face. In between her expressive eyes is a pert little nose. You'll notice the nostrils flaring or scrunching close as an extended expression of Lesla's whether it be in surprise or in smelling foul smelling socks from Roman.

Standing at five feet and ten inches, and weighs one hundred sixty pounds. Her body is built sturdy with all the work grooming and caring for the horses that she has done. She has a small frame with a small tapered waist and a litheness about her when she moves. Her skin has a light tan color and no freckles or blemishes. The most memorable feature about her is her long flowing hair and big blue eyes. In addition, she does not have any marks or scars at the moment.

Lesla likes to wear clothes that have a blue hue or color in them. She usually wears a shirt and pair of pants. Her mother despairs of her chosen attire for how could she ever attract the opposite sex? Roman doesn't tease her, with regards to her dressing like a boy, because then the two of them can go almost anywhere together. Once in a rare while, Lesla will opt to wear a dress, but only for very special occasions, usually during their birthday.

Personality: Lesla is the silent and shy one between the twins. She's usually hiding behind her brother when strangers are about. She's a warm and loving person really, just shy. She has a ready smile for her brother and probably the only one who sees her bright happy smile. She is a follower, is Lesla, and is usually following after her brother despite the fact that Roman likes to mess with her, especially with her hair whenever she decides to leave them falling down her back.

She is a hard-worker and helps with the caring of horses in their ranch. She is not a panicker during a crisis and usually helps her brother, Roman, especially when they need to get their herd to safety when Threadfall is imminent. She is polite and respectful of her elders and will never raise her voice towards them nor would she interrupt a conversation of theirs.

She shares a special bond with her fraternal twin, Roman. They're an example of the connection between twins or close siblings- if one is hurt or in terrible danger, the other instinctively knows it, whether it be a sinking sensation or gut feeling. They have no secrets, and Lesla would give her life for Roman without a second thought.

History: Lesla was born the younger of a set of fraternal twins, her brother, Roman being born five minutes before her. She and her brother was born one bright spring morning on Earth. They grew up on their parents' ranch in the state of Kentucky, raising world-renowned Endurance horses, whether they be the finer Warmbloods or the rugged Mustangs. Being in a dress sure was not suitable for working with horses and so Lesla opted to dress like her brother did, usually in a shirt and a pair of pants and weirdly enough, she usually chose to cloth herself in shades of blue. Mother at first didn't like the fact that Lesla was going to be like her brother Roman and be in the muck cleaning horse stalls which had been their earliest task when they were old enough to help their father with the ranch. Mother had been one of those still old-fashioned enough in the belief that women belonged in a home working the house and hearth. To placate her mother, Lesla grew her hair long just so she would still woman-like despite being in a man's clothing.

With Lesla's emphathy towards horses, Mustangs especially, Lesla of course would not want to be stuck inside the house doing house chores as her Mother would have preferred her to do. Besides, she rarely if ever spent time away from her twin. They almost always did things together. They even bathed together as children until they grew too old for that. When they got an invitiation to Pern, the Kincade family readily accepted, honored and priviledged to be part of a group that was to start a new civilization on a different world. With their finest breeding pair and a few others, the family boarded the ship to a new world, leaving their old life behind.

Lesla and her brother were sixteen years old when they finally stepped down from the ship onto Landing, as the place came to be known where the ships had landed from their long journey. On Pern, life seemed perfect, much like their life had been back on Earth. As time passed, their herds grew and prospered, and soon the family had a large stead up and running smoothly. Lesla is still as shy as ever and hid behind her brother, leaving him to deal with strangers and the one to answer questions. On Pern, she and her brother helped with their father working in the ranch while their mother minded the house. She soaked up everything that she could about raising and breeding horses from their father, Noah.

When they turned twenty-one years old, and were now considered adults, if they had still been back on Earh, their father had gifted them their very own horses to love and care. Roman was given a Warmblood whom Roman named Ares, while Lesla was given a Mustang, whom she named Adonis. She got first hand experience of raising a horse all on her own for her family did not try to help her, feeling that she needed to do the job on her own. After all, Adonis was her's to take care of not the family's. Roman did the same with Ares, their father only supervising them, but not actually giving a hand in feeding or grooming their own horses.

When Lesla and Roman proved that they could raise their own horses, she and her brother were asked to stand for the first firelizard hatching. It was then that Lesla Impressed on a Green firelizard that she immediately called, Lovely. And Roman Impressed on a Bronze that he called Zane. Oh, Lesla and Roman had known of the Dragonets, but they did not exactly have the time to go scouring the shores for wild Dragonet clutches when they landed on Landing. Afterall, their father needed their help with the horses and with work in the ranch. There were some wild Dragonets flitting about here and there near their home and Lesla would usually leave table scraps outside her bedroom window for the wild Dragonets to eat.

Life was still perfect a year after Impressing Lovely and then disaster struck. Thread fell for the first time, catching everyone off guard. They had been out with the herd when Lovely started urging Lesla to hurry to safety. Lesla didn't know what was going on since she could not see any dangerous animals about and the horses seemed fine to her and were not panicking. But Lovely would have none of Lesla's dithering and pulled on her long tresses dragging Lesla back to the stables, who was on Adonis, as fast as they could. Lesla had looked behind her shoulder and sure enouch at the rear, she could see Zane doing so with Roman. When she felt Roman getting hurt from Zane's attempt to drag him to safety, Lesla stopped dithering and urged Adonis on a run towards the stables. It had been the old one built when metal was still in much supply.

Lesla had just reached the safety of the stables when the ugly grey spirals floated down to their herds, eating alive the terrified horses. Lesla screamed as she felt the dying horses' terror at being eaten alive. Her brother and father were at the back of the herd working side by side trying to save what they could of the herd. But, it was soon clear that only those in the metal stables would survive. Lesla watched from within the metallic stable as her brother and father rode as hard as they could towards where she was, but her father and his black horse didn't escape the thread. Lesla was screamed and became numbed with grief when she saw her father and his horse gone in a second just like that devoured by thread. She didn't think that she could bare to live if something happened to her brother. But Lesla thanked whatever Power was at work in Pern for Zane somehow saved her brother from the same fate as their father. Their Mother was safe back in their house made of metal and also with the help of the wild Dragonets that kept the house safe from Thread searing them from the sky as they fell.

But life had to go on and those left alive by the first devastating Threadfall learned to live on despite the continued fall of Thread, the menace from the sky. Lesla knew that Roman had been asked to join the squadron of sled pilots but he had refused knowing that she would not be able to handle the ranch on her own. When the geneticists asked them to stand for the completed "Dragon Project" she and her brother readily agreed. Like her brother, she was honored to be part of what was to be the future of Pern.

Description: By some strange act of fate, Adonis has the same color as Ares, a blood bay with black points (black stockings on all four legs and black mane and tail). The difference being that Adonis has a white star on his head. He stands at fifteen hands high and like Ares, is built for endurance not for speed. However, he isn't as heavily muscled as most of the stallions in the ranch. He is a handsome fellow to look at and he knows it.

Personality: Adonis is a well-behaved stallion. He goes along really well with other stallions especially, Ares. He preens at praises said towards him and loves to nuzzle anyone willing to give him a sweet treat. He is a friendly horse and loves being petted. However, no matter how friendly he is or how much you bribe him with sweets, he will not take any rider on his back other than Lesla. He loves Lesla and will do anything to defend her against harm, even against predators.

Description: Lovely is an average sized firelizard. She has a lovely shiny green hide the color of grass. Her wing sails are like gossamer wings, very lacy and fragile-looking. Lovely is built for agility and gracefulness while flying in the air. She looks awkward whenever she is on the ground walking on all four of her legs.

Personality: Lovely is a very friendly firelizard. She will greet everyone that she meets with a welcoming warble of greeting. She tries to make Hers more independent and be more outgoing. She tries to make Hers have to deal with strangers by Hers' self whenever possible.

A dark hunter green, even and unbroken by variations or odd colours one will never doubt the colour Oleksyth is. She is small too, the smallest growing no longer than 10ft. Lithe and whip like she almost looks deadly in her appearance, although she does scream femininity, especially in the delicate female lines of her face.

Hatching Scene: This new green seemed to be the distain of her sister as she, with such abandon just tumbled from her egg and shook herself free of the sand that smattered her dark hunter green hide. Well now that was fun, although it's was rather stuffy to be inside she wanted to be out. Out where, well... where ever out was and to whatever was out there. Well now there had to be someone here she could pull along with her.. Her whirling eyes fell upon one girl with a bucket of meat looking rather uncomfortable. With lightning speed she was skidding to a sandy halt, nose dumped straight into the bucket of meat began to chow down, stopping only breifly too stare up at the girl she had chosen and speak.

I bet your surprised to see me aren't you Lesla. We're going to have so much fun together you know.

Sticking her nose in the bucket again she only stopped long enough to add one one more thing.
