Name: Emera Wilkins

Age: 28

Gender: Female

Distinguishing features: Her roan-like hair

Hair Color: Roan-like. Red-brown, with pale brown, to point of blonde through out her hair. It is slightly wavy, more so when wet, and let air dry. Her roan-like hair color is quite noticeable everywhere she goes.

Eye Color: Slightly almond-shaped, and more of amber colored eyes.

Description: Emera is not exactly tall, nor is she short. She is 5' 7". Her weight, while she isn't muscular at all, rather a little fine boned and lean side. She weighs just about 135 pounds. Emera is tanned, but she does get burned easily, which often seen peeling when she burns.

Emera also often seen wearing tight pants, tall boots, and looser shirt. Her hair is often cut to her shoulders, so that it was easy maintenance. Emera will wear a dress when needed to, but always tight pants, and boots, which her pants could be of any natural colors, and often black or brown boots. Sometimes a crop is seen sticking underneath her belt.

Personality: Emera Wilkins is quite serious person. She hardly jokes around, or tease. She does have fun, but normally involves horses, mainly riding, but she doesn't mind taking people on rides of the carriage. Emera Wilkins's main focus is training horses, sometimes teaching people to ride one. All she enjoys talking is about horses, equines, and issues that people may have with one. Growing up with them, she is very relaxed with horses, and sometimes would sleep with them, if given the chance.

Emera Wilkins has little patience for people that can't seemed to learn, but insisted on trying anyways. She does fine people wise, when she's not talking about equine, and their problems. Emera Wilkins normally doesn't go into crowds, or anything like that, unless she's suckered into it. One thing she hates doing a lot, is dancing. She would, if she has to, but often not great.

History: Emera Wilkins was born out of Emily, and Jared Wilkins. She had two older siblings, both brothers, who were near adults when she was born. Emera Wilkins basically had all the attention she needed by her parents. Her neighbor often took care of her when both her parents went to work. Even has infant, her neighbor often took her on the horses, doing quiet rides. It always calmed her down. Even when she could walk, she would run away to the neighbor's crossing the horse's pasture without any knowledge that they could easily harm her, if she startled them.

Her first younger brother was born just at age of two, and her second one at age of three and half. It seemed those two never would part, and Emera didn't play with them, she was better with the horses, and Phillippe Gaston, than with his wife, Sharon. So, Phillippe would take Emera with him, for a little while, until Emera needed his wife, then he would take her before Emera's parents would pick her, and her brothers up.

As young child, her day started and ended with horses. It was no wonder she easily learned about them. She started to ride on her own at age of five, and learning how to ride ever since. Her parents was thrilled that she had something to do, besides her schooling. She never had much friends, a few for sure. But they came and gone often. Didn't seemed to bother Emera often.

At age of ten, Emera knew things about horses so much, she spent her whole free time with them, brushing, exercising, and sure she had quite a few falls, but nothing drastic. She seemed natural born rider, after all she was on them since she was little. Emera thought it would be nice to have them when she grows up.

This happened for many years, where she helped her neighbor's horses, cleaning, mucking, moving to different pastures, and anything that needs help. She was even allowed to watch a few births.

At age of twelve, she started helping out with training, learning how to halter break the foals, and getting them used to humans around, and then starting to break them, under watchful eyes of Phillippe Gaston. Emera, at this point, never play, or interact with her younger two brothers, as she was only daughter her parents had.

Emera was adapt for training, but she had never done problematic horses, only watching, and talking about ones that she watched, understanding what to do in situations like that. She was learning just as fast as she would with other school work, but she does have her normal struggles, and always asked for help.

The war brought her family wanting to fight it, but she then moved to Phillippe's and his wife's, Sharon, house, when they left their home, and she didn't join. It was fitting, as she loved the horses.

She stayed with them, and when it was time to sign up for a new place, Emera had lost her family, all at the same time, just two years before three ships were to leave for a planet. Emera decided to go, and hoped for a new life, and test her skills as horse trainer. She had done fairly well, where she needed little help. She decided she liked the draft training, as it was fun, and watching them learn.

Emera went along, and was put in stasis, which she felt like it was only a moment of her life. She landed, lonely, and wondering what to do. When asked if she wanted any pet, she asked for red roan Italian Heavy Draft. She had worked with one before. She was given a colt. Emera was using it to test herself. He was called Sunset, for lack of names, and that he was born durning one.

A turn later, she was given another one, which no one seemed to want the little filly, so she decided to take her in, and raise her next to the young colt. She had a bit harder time with playful filly, but she managed to do fine with her.

There, the pairs were great for carriage, carts, and farm work. Emera had her two working out when ever something needed to be pulled, or hauled. They were great pair, and well matched. Emera knew the difference between the two drafts.

Just before the pair would be in breeding range, she got herself a quarter horse, unique one finished training him for riding. She needed something else she could do, while she would wait for her mare to foal, and wean any foals she gets. She figured she better get an older horse, so she could work with it, while she waits. She had noticed Sunset doesn't like to be alone without the mare, and she started to work with that, and her quarter horse, Night Noise, which she never named him.

Just about two years ago, she received quite a mare, quarter horses, as someone said she did well with three she received, and figured if she could ride the mare, and get her to do anything, she could keep her. Stormy is what she called her, beautiful mare, and quite a temper.

She had been working on her while she bred her other mare a few times, as well as her Stallion. Stormy was a hard one, but she decided to work the mare up, to point where she couldn't do much, then teach her. Getting her was use of bribery, and watching her back. She always carry a crop for the mare, to make sure the mare knows it couldn't get away with things anymore. Emera now gotten a point where the mare is ridable, but only seemed Stormy allowing her so. Emera tempted to breed the mare, seeing what the results be.

Middle of her training of Stormy, her first Threadfall was frightening one. She had no clue, and nearly lost Stormy. The mare acted up, and she managed to the testy mare inside her barn. There she stayed, even overnight calming her four beasts, and herself. She then spent a few hours a day, after hearing what repels the stuff, on her little home, and barn where she keeps her four horses. The fence was destroyed, so she had to figure something out, but so far, no solution yet.

Pets

Name: Sunset

Species: Equine

Breed: Italian Heavy Draft

Age: 8

Description: Sunset, is not tall draft horse. He is 15 hands high, but weighing just about 3/4 of a ton. He is red roan, not so pale, but enough where he does look frosted, where his base coat is red, but he has white hairs dispersed evenly through his barrel, and neck. It also extends to top half of all four legs, blending into red, with brown hints legs. His mane and tail are pale red, which has white hair when close enough. His face, however, is same red, with brown hints, as well as his ears. His tail goes down to his hooves. Sunset's feet are covered with reddish brown hair, lightly, but enough to show his big hooves. The mane falls to his shoulder at the bottom, and goes up his neck, where at the top, it hangs beyond the throat latch. Sunset is very wide horse, making him very hard to ride. He is well muscled.

Personality: He may be massive stallion, but he is gentle, agile, and swift. He is very tolerable to other people handling him, and always seemed calm. Working is what he enjoys, or always with his single mare harem. Once his mare, Morning Frost, he'll panic, and tried to see where she's going. He will eventually calm down, when given attention to, often brushing, and occasional treat will help him.

~~~
Name: Morning Frost
Species: Equine
Breed: Italian Heavy Draft
Age: 7
Description: She is slightly darker version of Sunset, but no means related. She looked more like frosty red in color, with darker on her elbow, knee, and sometimes her neck. Her legs are red in color, with white sockings, up to her knees. She too, has slight feathering at bottom of her legs, just covering her top of her hooves. Her mane and tail are light red, due to the white coloring in them. Both are just as long. her tail, down to her hooves, and her mane passes her thick neck.
She is muscular, and not at all feminine. Big boned, and everything. She is slightly shorter than Sunset, 14.3 hands high. She looked well matched to the stallion that she is always near.
Personality: Morning Frost is very calm, willing to pull, and quite active. If she is not seen pulling carts, carriage, or anything else, she is often frolicking about. She is more playful when out of the harnesses, often seen frolicking with any foals she has. Practically everyone can handle her, as she's very easy to get along. She could even have other horses in her pasture with her.
Name: Stormy
Species: Equine
Breed: Quarter Horse
Age: 8
Description: Stormy, well, not only she's unique, but she is light grey, with darker, medium grey on her knees, hocks, and lower feet, just above her hooves, with her muzzle darker as well. Her body is cover with the same color as her feet, the medium grey all over, her neck looked to be spotted, but it's finely striped, doing perpendicular to her neck line. It continues down through her body, where it is vertical in most places, slightly curving on her shoulder and rump. It makes her look round and skinny. The brindle also horizontal, but faint on her upper forelegs, but more dominant on her hind legs, where it bends with the muscles and bone. Farther away, her hind quarters looked to be finely spotted, like her neck.
Her mane and tail are a bit short. Her tail, which is thin, goes to her hocks. Her mane only goes to half way down her neck. They start off grey in color, then go to faint grey, looking white at the ends, and tips. She stands about 14.2 hands high at the withers. She is finely muscled, but not too much.
Personality: Stormy lives up her name. She is very hard to get along, and often strikes out to those who she can get a way with. She chases other mares, young horses, even older ones, away for taking over their area of grazing. She would bite, kick any horses in her way, and tries to do so with any human. It has seemed only Emera could handle this mare.
~~~

Name: Night Noise

Species: Equine

Breed: Quarter Horse

Age: 6

Description: Night Noise is liver chestnut, with flaxen, light brown mane and tail. It is rather thicker than normal, nearly going to his neck, and full tail, where it is half way down his lower leg. It looks quite different than his main body. His base coat is liver chestnut, deep red-brown, looking more brown than red. He has small, black brindle strips along his neck, body, and upper legs. While the neck and lower legs are hard to tell, due to fact that it is so similar evenly, but up close, small stripes can be seen. He has it clearly on his barrel of his body, and his hindquarters. Night Noise is muscular, and well-defined. He shows up with nice gaits, and smooth.

Personality: Night Noise is rather friendly, of course when mares not around. He can be bit tough when he smells a mare in heat. Firm hands are needed, as he often gets distracted with things going on, rather than what he should be paying attention to. He is easily startled, and would often jump at sudden things. Once he is working hard, normally little things startles him. Calm riders are best for him, so he doesn't panic when riders do.
