Description: Kira has wavy dark brown and in some cases, it seems to be black especially under shadows. Her hair reaches the small of her back. She usually just finger brushes her hair into some semblance of order towards the back of her head. She has never had the occasion to style her hair so her hair is usually just flowing freely at the back of her head.

She has dark brown eyes under black arched eyebrows. They may be expressive but, they are not the windows to her soul. They hold a deep sadness for the unfair death of her parents. There are laugh-lines so she knows how to smile and laugh when the occasion calls for it.

She stands five feet and eight inches tall and weighs one hundred and twenty pounds. Her skin is a light tan without too many freckles thank God. She has a lean and lithe body build from her sword and her archery practice drills.

Personality: Kira has a way with getting what she wants. She is patient and can be quite stubborn when she wants things done her way. But don't worry, she is not the bullying type nor does she have a liking for those types of people. She is very friendly and will usually initiate conversations with strangers that she doesn't know. She is glad enough to make friends when she can, but she won't mourn the loss of having lost the opportunity to make friends. If she likes you, you'll know it, and if she doesn't... well, my advice is to just try and not let yourself be seen. Otherwise, get ready to dodge and duck for cover. She does have the tendency to throw things, usually handy weapons, at people she hates. She will never let Ryoushi do the attacking when she can perfectly do so herself.

She is polite to her elders and those of authority, in that she doesn't openly show her defiance if she disagrees with them. Anyways, being polite is different from being respectful as far as Kira is concerned. One has to earn her respect, especially if one intends to order Kira about. She helps those in need when they sorely need help, however, she will never help anyone if she thinks that they are only pretending to need help. And she has a very good eye in judging whether a person is pretending to need help or not. Moreover, Kira doesn't like it when she feels helpless and that she is unable to do anything about it. There are times that she will get antsy when there is Threadfall. She tries to take her mind off of Threadfall by doing her sword drills or the training exercises for hand-to-hand combat that she is learning from her Sensei, Morgen.

When she has free time and if she is not learning hand-to-hand combat from Morgen, she loves taking a swim in the lake or going down the Caldera to just explore or maybe even hunt. Kira is very independent and likes to do things on her own during her free time with Ryoushi by her side and recently with Kagemusha as part of her tight knit little group. She loves teaching Ryoushi and Kagemusha tricks to make themselves a more fit and efficient fighting team against possible dangers in the wild outdoors that Kira loves to explore.

History: Kira was born to a pair of Geneticist parents. However, Kira was not to be someone who would have followed the foot steps of her Geneticist parents. At a young age, she already showed sign of being an outdoors person. And she never showed any awkwardness around animals whenever her family visited the Zoo. In fact, she had a soft spot for the beautiful wolves that were being raised by the Zoo. She loved it when her family decided to go for picnics in the park. And it was then that she witnessed an event, an antique weapons exhibition of sword dancers and archers. And just like that, she knew what she wanted to do in her life, at a tender age of 5.

She begged her parents to be allowed to go to sword dancing lessons and archery lessons. She wasn't a bright kid, academically speaking, but with sword dancing and the archery lessons, she seemed to shine and excel above the rest. It was discovered, by her Sensei, that she had a natural aptitude for the use of bows and arrows, but with sword dancing, she had to really work hard to achieve a mastery level. One would say that she was a genius in the use of antique weaponry for she managed to achieve master level in both Archery and Sword Dancing in only 5 years, at a young age of 10. Upon achieving Mastery Level in Sword Dancing and Archery, her Sensei, had gifted to her an exquisite sword that was especially made for her by an authentic Sword-Smith. In addition, she was gifted her very own Longbow and a set of Arrows .

Her parents being prime Geneticists, their family, the Kavanaghs were invited to join the Pern Colonization Project. Her parents agreed to go and so Kira was sent to another world along with her parents. Being kept in stasis, even though it took some years to get from Earth to Pern, Kira was still 10 years old when she finally set foot on Pern. She trailed after her parents as they were assigned their living quarters in Landing, the place where the ships initially landed. However, soon her Geneticist parents would be busy helping the other Geneticists into bringing to life what animals would prosper on Pern, leaving her to explore the nearby neighborhood on her own.

Life was pretty much routine. Her family always ate breakfast and dinner together. After breakfast, her parents would go to their work while Kira would practice either her sword dancing or archery. For lunch, she opted to eat with the other colonists in the Mess Hall. In the afternoons, she would go exploring. She wasn't afraid of the unknown animals that probably lurked behind shadows for she knew that she could defend herself if need be. After all, she was a master in sword dancing and archery.

However, one day while out exploring, she came to meet a young man who seemed to have been out hunting, for what, she had no idea. Maybe he was hunting for a clutch of those Dragonets that she had heard were bondable when one was in the right place at the right time. Anyways, she had her longbow on her hand with an arrow nocked at the ready, and it was pure luck that she forgot to release her hold on the nocked arrow in her surprise. She immediately put away her weapon and introduced herself. Never having met anyone in her explorations, Kira was curious about the man. It was not long that Kira discovered the man, who introduced himself as Morgen Remington, was someone who was quite versed in the use of bows and arrows, his bow being a recurve bow while hers was a long bow. He was also just as versed in the use of swords and other weapons for hand-to-hand fighting.

Meeting Morgen was like, meeting with her Sensei who was back on Earth. And just like with her decision to learn Archery and Sword Dancing, she asked Morgen to Apprentice her and teach her what skills she was lacking, not like there was much for her to learn with regards to Archery or Sword Dancing. She will of course try to learn the hand-to-hand fighting that he was good at. Morgen agreed to her request and so, she had found herself a replacement for her Sensei. Sometimes, she addresses Morgen as Sensei just because she is used to calling those who teach her swordwork and archery as sensei. Her parents approved of her becoming an Apprentice to Morgen for Kira was then with a responsible adult during the times that they, her parents, were out working in the lab helping to grow the livestock that would populate Pern.

After the work on enhancing the Dragonets DNA with Menta-Synth and 5-digit, her Geneticist parents finally had a chance to grow a pet for Kira. They knew of her love for wolves when she was very young back on Earth. And so, when Kira was 16, her parents, grateful that Kira didn't bug them every hour of the day, gifted her with a wolf pup. As far as Kira knew, she was the only one that had a wolf for a pet, and she named her, Ryoushi, after her Sensei. Kira trained Ryoushi from puphood to become her second set of fighting teeth and claws just in case she ever met with danger, while out exploring on the days that Morgen did not teach her.

However, not long after, Thread interrupted her peaceful life. By this time, her family had moved out of Landing and had a small plot of their own to call home. It was all unexpected and fast. Her family, being one of the last people to move away from Landing, did not have the use of those special metallic sidings that most earlier famlies used for their home. Their house was made of brick for its side and a wooden roof. Her parents, being Geneticists, had two metallic file cabinets where important documents were held. One for each of her parents. When her parents noticed how the silvery string devoured organic things, they dumped out their important documents in a hurry. Her Mom made her curl up like a fetus inside one of the file cabinents and her Dad made Ryoushi lay down on the other file cabinet. Kira's eyes were wide as she realized what they were about to do and before she could express her opinion on dying with them than being left all alone, her Mom closed the cabinent just in time for Kira to hear something go ka-plunk.

She winced, as she was curled up inside, even though it seemed that the silvery string could not get at her from inside the filing cabinet. She wondered about her parents, if maybe they had ran away and sought safety elsewhere. Then after a time, the surrounding turned silent and Kira wondered if it was okay to go outside. However, before she could make a decision, someone opened the filing cabinet that she was hiding in. She didn't even have time to thank the man for she was more worried about Ryo and her parents. And when she got out, she was dumbfounded to find herself in what seemed like an abandoned building. Only the sides of her home were left intact. Everything else was gone, no trace... even that of her parents. She scrambled over to the second filing cabinet and let out Ryo, her wolf was now her only family.

She went back with the man who was gathering survivors, if there were any, and headed for Landing. Back at Landing, Kira was mourning the loss of her parents. True she may not have spent as much time as she could have with them, but she loved them nonetheless especially since they gifted her, Ryoushi, her Arctic Wolf. Morgen, her Sensei, sort of took her in and kind of adopted when he learned that her parents had died and left her alone. She was grateful for his offer and has sincerely accepted. To be able to learn 24 hours a day from her Sensei was a rare priviledge, in her opinion, and it did take her mind out of mourning her parents' death.

When Ryoushi turned 2, one of the Geneticists approached Kira regarding her wolf. Since the experiment with the firelizards proved to be a success, the Geneticist wanted to artificially impregnate Ryoushi. Ryoushi would be the mother to a litter of wolf pups with, hopefully, enhanced menta-synth, making the wolf pups highly intelligent, as well was trippling a wolves' natural lifespan. Kira agreed to the experiment and so Ryoushi is now pregnant with a litter of enhanced wolf pups growing inside of her. As a sort of reward and also because Kira had successfully raised and trained Ryoushi from puphood, the Geneticist had invited Kira to stand for the Hatching of the Dragons. Kira, not wanting to be helpless every time Thread fell readily accepted the invitation. And so, she waits for Ryoushi to bear her pups and for the Hatching that she hopes would change her life forever.

Description: Ryoushi is quite tall and big for her size. Currently, she stands three feet tall measured at her shoulders. Whether or not she would still grow, only time will tell. Her fur coat is white with a few silver and gray streaks here and there. In addition, her eyes are a startling piercing skyblue. With her bigger size, resulting in a bigger cranial for her brain, one is given the impression of Ryoushi's apparent intelligence. Moreover, Ryoushi is blessed with a sturdy strong body and legs capable of running long distances. She has formidable strong white teeth capable of tearing apart meat and crunching bones. As well as powerful claws able to cause bodily injuries to her prey.

Personality: Ryoushi is a constant loyal companion as well as a loving protector for Kira. She loves taking walks or playing on the beach with Kira. She will do anything to prevent any harm come to her beloved friend and master, Kira.

Species: Firelizard

Breed: Bronze

Age: 6 Months Old (Autumn 9 AL)

Description: Kagemusha was the only Bronze hatched among his clutchmates. He may have been the largest at the time of his hatching, but overall, he is an average sized Bronze. However, since he is only 6 months old, it is unknown what size he would really grew into. His hide is a dark bronze, almost brown in coloring if not for splotches of lighter bronze on his wing sails. He also has an almost golden muzzle as if he had a face mask on to hide his darker bronze coloring.

Personality: As his name means, Kagemusha is like an invisible companion for Kira. He enjoys being outdoors with Kira and Ryoushi. He adores Kira and will do anything to prevent any harm from approaching what he considers, His.
