Description: Asdra stands about 6'1", with broad shoulders and a chiseled look to him. His disheveled hair usually stays out of his face, leaving his sharp, sea-colored eyes to watch his surroundings intently. Though nobody can tell unless they're up close, he has many, many scars on his body, usually only covered by a pair of baggy pants and a midnight-blue cape he wears, the edge along the ground somewhat tattered and shredded from wear and tear. He usually goes barefoot everywhere, but will wear sandals on occasion, as well.

Personality: Asdra will come across as somewhat crazy to...pretty much everyone for at least a little while. He will stand up for what he believes is right, no matter what the opposition, and constantly acts rashly because of this. These rash actions have had him shunned by several people, and gotten him into trouble more than once. If he thinks he needs to do something, chances are he'll do what he feels he needs to do, no matter how drastic it seems. However, this outward trait will make you think he is the exact opposite of what he really is. A brilliant tactician, he has been able to lead people through tough times on multiple occasions, and is perfectly capable of applying that skill to anything he does - even his antics. And he will continue to do so as long as he feels like someone needs to act to get things done.

History: Asdra spent life on Earth with his parents, though his relationship with them wasn't exactly what you would call 'ideal'. Because of the relationship he did have with his parents, he very quickly learned to stand up for what he thought was right, no matter the cost. When his family went off to Pern, he often did as much work as he could to make himself stronger, so he could more easily defend what he believed in. When the Thread fell, he was in the middle of some chores, and was hurt quite badly before he managed to make it to shelter; despite what could be done, he was left with scars all over his body - reminders of what had happened, along with other reminders he still had from his parents.
After humanity had been moved into the dormant volcano, he continued doing whatever jobs he could to help people out in any way he could - even laying out well-thought out plans - and in doing so was selected to become a Candidate, and is such to this day.
He calls himself Asdra because he really doesn't remember his real name. He spent many years of his life calling himself by his self-given nickname, and in doing so no longer remembers what his given name was.

Description: Cobalt is a slightly darker blue, just a few shades darker than deep water, with a lighter-colored belly and darker-shaded forelimbs and tail.

Personality: Cobalt shares a personality with Asdra, except that he will do whatever Asdra says if Asdra tells him to...usually.
