Description: Dark auburn hair frames a lean, tan face and a set of steady and very open mahogany eyes. Aria's form is lean and petite and her tan skin shows of her gentlely toned body. Standing at about 5'6, Aria is a bit taller than other girls in the weyr and uses this to her advantage. Her dark hair falls to the middle part of her back and is often left in loose, wavy curls. Aria's mahogany eyes tilt upwards just slightly giving her a very exotic look. Aria's lean form appears very delicate when you first look at her but really she's very athletic from her years of travelling. More often than not, Aria is most often seen wearing form fitting clothing that is designed to show of her figure; even though she's not really aware that she's considered attractive. Her clothing is most often in darker shades like purple, black, and crimson and she often has to barter with her talents to get the dyes she needs. She also has a series of deep claw shaped scars down her back from an incident when she was younger.

Personality: Despite what her softer appearance made lead you to believe Aria is anything but sweet and gentle. Aria is bold, brash, wild and lets nothing and no one get in her way. She goes after what she wants whole-heartedly and doesn't stop to consider the consequences of her actions. Aria is never one to back down from a fight and will speak her mind in any situation. This young woman is one of those people that doesn't tolerate stupidity in those around her and expects only the best from herself. Aria is confident in everything she does and never lets the obstacles she comes across stop her from doing what she has her mind set on. No matter how difficult things get for her, Aria always pushes forward to her goal. Given her more wild nature, Aria is often akined to the spotted felines that roamed the wilds of Earth. Aria also isn't afraid to fail; she just doesn't like to. This young woman is one that believes that hard work will get her everything she wants with time and a little patience.

Aria is feircely protective of those few people she lets close to her and has even been known to provoke violence on behalf of one of her friends when someone has done that person wrong. Aria has a very strong veiw on the things she views as right or wrong; and will often get herself into dangerous situations in order to right a wrong. Despite being so confident, Aria has a serious issue with people in authority. She won't give respect unless it's earned and refuses to tolerate people who expect her to give them respect just because of their rank or status. This often sees Aria in loads of trouble with the people around her. Because she is so strongly opinionated about EVERYTHING she does, Aria often has trouble working with others because she expects them to work at her pace and to excell in their work as she does. Aria gets easily frustrated with people that see her pretty face and assume things about her. This often leads to her striking out at others, sometimes to the point of physically harming them. Aria is forever seen with something in her hands. Usually this means somethings she's working like a tapestry or sometimes a special cloth. When she's worried about something though she tends to make small bracelets that she'll then give to people she becomes close to.

History: Aria was born to a Tailor and a Weaver on Earth during a violent storm. Her name comes from the fact that she was born during a gentler part of a storm. The sounds reminded her parents of an aria they'd heard the day they'd met and the name stuck. Growing up in a smaller town, Aria had no shortage of things to keep herself occupied. From playing raiders in the streams surrounding her home to hiking in the wilds surrounding her hold, Aria was always an adventurous one. Forever worrying her parents with her frequent overnight trips away from home, Aria has always tended to do things her own way. At a young age, she was introduced to both her parents crafts and took an active interest in both. She also developed the tendancy to make small bracelets whenever something worried her. Aria took to giving these bracelets to her friends whenever she made to many. Growing up, Aria loved being outdoors and was hardly ever inside even as a small child. From a young age, she tended to do things her own way and would never listen to her superiors; even those of higher authority where her parents worked. This got her into more than her fare share of trouble but it didn't bother Aria for to long.

When she was about fifteen years old, she accompanied her parents on an exploration mission off planet to another planet. The planet was called Pern, and it was vastly different than anywhere Aria had ever been in her entire young life. It didn't take long for Landing to become like home and for a while, Aria thrived. Several months in though found the young woman again growing restless and she began to explore more and more of the terrain around her. It was during one of these many outings that she first came across the creature known as a dragonet. Her first experince ended with her getting attacked by an irrated gold mother and going back to her parents with nasty gouges torn out of her back. After nearly bleeding to death, and with several months of rest though, she made a full recovery. Now sporting a nasty scar on her back from the incident, Aria learned to be more cautious in her wanderings. This didn't deter her from the creatures for long though and as soon as she could again sneak out, she was once again exploring her surroundings. It was on a foggy and rainy afternoon in late fall that Aria ran across a small outcropping several feet above the ground. Curious and wanting to get out of the rain, Aria climbed up into the outcropping. What she found there was a nest of eggs that she'd never seen before. Curiousity getting the better of her, she took one of the eggs and after wrapping it warmly up, placed it into her travel bag to bring back home with her. Managing to get home without being seen, she hid the egg near a herth and waited. Several long weeks passed with nothing but silent, diligent vigalance.

Then it happened, the egg hatched and what came from it was one of the most beautiful creatures Aria had ever seen. A pale, shimmering golden head peaked out from the egg and from the moment Aria fed her, the gold was hers. Naming the little dragonet Jyluu, Aria had made a friend for life. After hiding the little dragonet for the first few weeks of her life, Aria finally went out among the other settlers with the dragonet. After enduring being the object of much envy and having those of supposedly "higher rank" than she was tell her to give them Jyluu's eggs when she rose to mate, Aria decided she'd had enough but at fifteen, there was nothing she could really do. Finally making a decision about her dilema, she decided to have Jyluu lay her clutches away from the settlement so that only those smart enough to find the clutch could have an egg. Once the gold was old enough, that was just what she did too. Three years passed in this manner, each time the people around her growing angrier that she wasn't listening to them. Then finally the time came and Caldera was established. Now Eighteen years old, Aria left to help establish the new home and left her parents, and her former life behind to live with her cousin Tylar's family. Over a year has passed since then and Aria now has a new interest. With the creatures known as dragons having come into existance, Aria is determined to see them up close, and maybe even get the chance to Stand to Impress one herself. So with Jyluu by herside and her future before her, Aria looks forward to what is to come with excitement and no small amount of hope.

Description:With a hide of pale and shimmering gold, Jyluu certainly stands out against her darker colored breathren. This gold has a lean, whip-like appearence and a smaller size than other golds that allows her to get herself out of situations that would probably kill any other gold. Her pale, wheat colored hide is often compared to the brightest of stars in the evening sky; even more so when one sees the speckled markings on darker bronze-gold that dots her pale hide like the shimmering stars she's often compared to. Jyluu's smaller stature means she has less stamina than others of her coloring but she more than makes up for it with increased speed and agility. Her multi-faceted eyes are slightly downward tipped and a bit larger than normal; sometimes giving her the appearence of an infant canine. Jyluu dislikes this fact but has been known to use her "puppy dog eyes" to get things she really wants that her Pet refuses to get her. A distint bronze-gold marking shoots across her pale colored hide like a shooting star leading many to refer to Jyluu as the "Star" of the weyr. Being a gold though, she most certainly considers herself to be just that; no matter where she's going or to whom she's talking with.

Personality: Moody, Thoughtful, Straight-Forward, Sensitive - Like the ocean waves in the open sea, Jyluu's personality often swings from one extreme to another. One moment the young gold is calm and even friendly to those around her, then the very next moment she's snarling and lunging at any who pass her by. When she's calm, Jyluu is a thoughtful dragonet that doesn't rush into any situation rashly. Even at the worst of moments, this fact hold true; except when she's rising to mate then nothing about her is normal. Despite her nature (or possibly because of it), Jyluu is a very sensitive dragonet and tends to get upset easily by certain things. Words and actions must be carefully chosen when dealing with this more-than-moody golden beauty as she won't hesitate, when upset or provoked, to attack the object of her distress.

Description: A lighter green than her twin but no less grey tinted in her colour. She is just as frail and skinny as her twin but smaller in size. She is longer than her twin but will never match her height at the shoulder. Her light green colour can only be described as a desaturated chartruesse green. Just marginally longer than 10ft long. Likes to watch dancing but not dance herself. Suffer from stiff joints and will find learning to fly difficult. Is suceptible to respiratory tract infections.
