IC Time: Month 11; Mid spring
IC Setting: Late night at the Dining Cavern

Roridyn was exploring in the Bowl after his chores his chores were done. It was a late night and the stars were out and he saw fireflies blinking in the distance. He smiled as he found himself in an empty Dining Cavern. He scanned the area and ran up on one of the tables, jumping from one to another. He smirked and tried an even further jump. He jumped and almost made it when he fell on to his back.

"Ow." he shook his head. "Shouldn't have done that." He was playing, jumping from table to table again. "Ok...." he looked at the space between tables and he jumped again. He almost made it again and fell this time on his side. "Ow." he laughed a little. He was glad to be off of work. Gave him a chance to relax.

"Now, all I need is a beautiful lady to keep me company." he grinned. He sat down on the dirt floor with with legs spread and fell asleep.

Late night of passion((Ty)) Empty Re: Late night of passion((Ty))

Tylar tried to live life as well as she could, and be happy as she did it, which was pretty easy for the laid-back girl. Usually pretty easy. The past year had been more difficult, because of WYnnfrith. That didn't mean she didn't love the green more than anything, but Wynnfrith was sickly and sometimes hard to take care of. Tylar wouldn't give her up for the world (though she would change her - she'd make her healthy), but the illnesses....The joint pains...She had to be so careful with the green. And there was the small matter of them being so, so different. Tylar so outgoing, so spontaneous, such a socialite; Wynnfrith so shy and reserved, with such aversion to any flamboyant activity whatsoever. Like dancing, which just happened to be Tylar's favorite activity.

They'd made compromises; Tylar had become much better at making compromises this past year. She wouldn't give up dancing for nearly anything, and once Wynnfrith saw that, she understood she couldn't keep her rider from doing it. They'd compromised: Tylar danced, but mostly in their own quarters, alone, and if she simply had to do it in fromt of someone, make it modest. When Tylar realized the depth of Wynnfrith's phobia of crowds and anything other than strictest modesty, she toned down her activities, agreed to go to smaller events, and didn't push Wynnfrith into going into a crowd if she didn't have to. Those things they could compromise on.

But health didn't agree to propositions. Wynnfrith was a weak, sickly dragon, simple as that. It didn't make her any worse than her siblings, but both she and Finscoth got sick, a lot. They were sloth-like, and got joint pains frequently. And they got ill. The twins had both gotten sick over the winter, and Wynnfrith again in the spring, very much so. Tylar had been afraid for a while, very afraid; her lethargic partner slept most of the time, and hardly seemed there when she awoke, and didn't want to eat. Yes, the greenrider had been afraid. It had seemed a perilous time, and made even worse by the fact that she could feel Wynnfrith'sa pain, feel what she was going through. It almost made Tylar sick herself.

Now, thank the world and the stars and the universe beyond, the green was better. Not fully recovered, but it was clear that she would recover, and Tylar was weak with relief, reckless with relief. Wynnfrith was okay, she was going to be fine, and Tylar had been so worried, and now she was sure it would be all right. Wynnfrith was still sleeping a lot as her body recuperated, but today she'd eaten all she'd been given without objection, and had had a full conversation with Tylar. She was getting better.

It had been such a strain on Tylar, and she could hardly imagine spending the rest of their lives accommodating for Wynnfrith's sicknesses. How could she go through this every winter? Was she going to live her life in fear for her dragon, fear that one winter she wouldn't come out so well? She hoped it was only Wynnfrith's young age, that the green would build a resistance to it, but how could she be sure?

It was a combination of relief and these morbid thoughts that caused her to be where she was now, sitting just outside the entrance to the Dining Cavern, staring at the bottle in her hands. She hadn't been getting enough sleep as she should lately, worried about Wynnfrith, but she'd been too jittery to possible rest tonight, so she'd gotten up to wander about in the cold air, and her wanderings had led her to the deserted Dining Cavern. In a fit of rebellion and a need to replace the fierce buzzing of her frightening thoughts with a different kind of buzzing, she'd delved into the stores in the kitchens and produced a bottle of alcoholl which she'd taken outside with her. She sat sipping from the bottle now, staring up at the stars.

It was not a light liquor - the first gulp had told her that - but it wasn't nearly as hard as it could be - not, for example, nearly as hard a stuff as the alcohol she'd shared with Thatcher and Malcolm one time, back before she'd Impressed. Now that had been a time to remember...or, rather, a time not to remember. It'd given her one hell of a hangover, too. This stuff....this she could handle, if she didn't have too much. Oh, she'd get drunk, yes, but not roaring drunk. She didn't want that tonight, but...the little indulgence felt so good. It had been a year since she'd had the stuff, a year because Wynnfrith couldn't handle it. Now she felt her green in her head - slumbering, but not asleep - and while Wynnfrith didn't exactly approve of drowning ones worries in liquor, she wasn't interfering as long as Tylar didn't drink too much.

Well, in the amount of time it took to slowly drink half the bottle, Tylar sat and tried not to think; she let her fuzzy mind spin off into fairytale daydreams - or maybe just dreams, because it was night...drifting until she felt very detached from her body, from the world. The tiny greenrider closed her eyes, took a sip, and opened them again, blinking and trying to focus in the half-empty bottle in her hand. She discovered, with a quivery feeling in her stomach, that this was all she wanted, most definitely all she wanted. But she'd best not leave this here...Wyn wouldn't like that...She'd put it back in the kitchens...or maybe just set it on a table in the Dining Cavern. She stood, and headed into the giant room, trying not to stumble; it was a bit difficult. Without a doubt Tylar was drunk, but not too badly.

Nevertheless, when she got into the Cavern she wondered if she were more intoxicated than she thought, for if she was seeing right there was a man attempting to jump from table to table. What on Pern...? Tylar leaned against the rock wall of the entrance to the Dining Cavern, not trusting herself to speak; she thought she'd burst out laughing. This expectation was intensified when he leapt up and missed, falling on his side. He didn't seem bothered by it, though; the guy just sat down and spread his legs apart. He was a ways away from her, but she heard what he said anyway - sound carried in such a room - and raised her eyebrows, a devilish grin spreading across her face. A beautiful lady? He was a very, very lucky man then, for here she was.

She strode across the space between them - well, not really strode, more like a wobbly gait, really, as she tried to maintain her balance. She felt warmed from the inside, from the alcohol resting in her, and her head was fuzzy and her movements awkward, but it didn't matter. She felt good. The greenrider reached the man, and stars he was handsome. Long, dark hair - unusually long, but somehow not girly - and a handsome face. Ooh, she liked this one. But - wait - what? He'd fallen asleep? Well, that certainly opened up some very tempting opportunities! Something seemed to spin inside Tylar; a little too tempting, actually. Shells, she'd been so deprived the past year...and he looked...delicious.

Tylar... Wynnfrith's warning whispered through the partly-inebriated girl's mind. The green was awake, if drowsy, and listening in, so to speak. Relax, Wyn...I won' go too far, Tylar reassured lazily, eyes on the man. Of course she wouldn't...or at least that's what her mind said. This mind, however, was not as good a judge of its body as it would have otherwise been, and the concept of 'too far' was already slightly distorted.

Ignoring these confusing thoughts she'd rather not have, Tylar slid down the wall, one hand creeping forward to finger the man's shoulder. The other, she realized, still held the bottle of liquor. "I'll keep you company, handsome," she purred into his ear, intent on waking him. It worked; his eyes slid open, and she dangled the half-full bottle of alcohol in front of him, grinning impishly. "I'd offer you some...but by the way you were leap-froggin' earlier, I'd say you don' need it."

Late night of passion((Ty)) Empty Re: Late night of passion((Ty))

Roridyn moaned when he heard her voice. He grabbed her and pulled her close and planted a kiss on her lips. When he pulled away, he took her bottom lip with it and it sprung back into place when he finally let go.

"Mmmm...that tasted good." he said. He looked at her. "I am Roridyn, a new Resident here." His voice was low and raspy. He smelled good, he always made sure of that. He couldn't believe his luck. He smiled.

"Who is this flower before me?" He said as he careessed her cheek. "Beautiful." he sighed. He saw the bottle dangling in front of him. He looked at her and took the bottle and smelled of it. He closed his eyes and let it permiate through his sense. The smell of good alcohol put him in a eurphoric state. He sighed, happily. "That's some good sh*" He drank some and gave it back.

Roridyn tried to get up. The moment he sat up, he felt dizzy. It wasn't because of dehydration either. He shook his head and it began to get fuzzy. He laughed as he tried to get up again. He slipped again. He laughed again.

"Wow! You have the /really/ good stuff. The expensive kind. What did you trade for that?"

Late night of passion((Ty)) Empty Re: Late night of passion((Ty))

This one was certainly responsive. Whatever Tylar had been expecting, it wasn't the immediate awareness of the man. A low moan was the only warning she had before she was pulled close to him, room spinning around them disconcertingly. Eyes, gone wide with surprise, narrowed as she leaned into the kiss, not caring that she was kissing someone she had never spoken to before in her life. When he pulled away she blinked, taking a moment to return from the fantasy the kiss had spun into her head.

"Mmmm...that tasted good." The greenrider was in full agreement with that statement. It tasted good, it looked good, and it definitely smelled good. Whoever this man was, he sure was stunning. His voice, when he spoke, carried a tone Tylar recognized well, the tone o a man aroused. Well! The night was getting better and better. And to think she'd started it all by worrying!

A new resident. No wonder she hadn't recognized him by now. Roridyn. Nice name. Vaguely she wondered what he did, how old he was, but that could wait. Oh yes, that could wait because right now he was calling her a flower, a beautiful flower. Caressing her cheek in an irresistible way, in a way that made her own hand slide up his arm to his shoulder almost as if all by itself. "Tylar," she introduced, "of green Wynnfrith." She might not have added that, except that they were inseparable. You couldn't have one without the other, and Tylar had spent the last year introducing her as Tylar of Wynnfrith, because that was who she was.

It was then that Roridyn seemed to notice the bottle of alcohol, which he promptly took from her and - not tasted, but smelled. Why would he waste his time smelling it? But it seemed to make him happy, and anyway his attention to the bottle allowed her to surreptitiously scoot closer to him, leaning against the wall beside him now. By the time she'd finished sneaking closer, he'd finished sniffing it and took a very large gulp of the stuff, wearing a blissful expression. Made him happy? Very good; she wanted him happy. Her smile was impish when he proclaimed his opinion. "Thanks. Now give it back," she teased, grabbing the bottle away from him.

When Tylar had come in, it had been with the intention of putting the alcohol back. She enjoyed indulgence, but knew when to stop. At least, when she was alone. From the start the diminutive greenrider had never been able to watch someone do something without wanting to do it herself, and she hadn't lost the trait. If someone else was using the swings, so would she. If someone else was dancing, so would she. If someone else was drinking, so would she. Earlier intention forgotten now, she took another swig from the bottle, noting with a small frown the diminished amount; Roridyn was taking advantage of her generosity. But she decided she didn't mind.

Shells, that was good. She shivered as the liquid went through her, increasing the buzzing in her head. Speaking of things in her head...Tylar... intruded Wynnfrith again. You're drinking too much. The girl rolled her eyes. Relax, Wyn, the bottle's almost empty anyway. Go sleep. Reluctantly and with relief at the same time, the green's presence fade; reluctant to leave her rider unwatched, relieved to get out of the mind that was making her own head feel nebulous.

There was movement beside her as Roridyn attempted to get up...and failed. A spurt of giggles turned to full-out bubbly laughter as his second attempt ended with the same result of slipping back down. Couldn't even get up! His tolerance didn't look to be much better than hers. As a test, she also tried to get up, and the world wobbled dangerously in front of her - or, no, it was she who was wobbling...and falling. More laughter burst forth. "'Kay," she conceded between chuckles. "Can't do better." Of course, she could walk if she wanted to. Once she stood up. As lnog as there were things to grab onto.

And then he was telling her she had the expensive kind, asking what she'd traded for it! That was too much; she couldn't stop laughing. He thought she'd paid a pretty penny for it, and the truth was that she hadn't tradeed a thing. Nicked it was all, and she could have just as well gotten the worst of the stock, but no, she'd grabbed the first thing she'd come upon and it was this. Wasn't she the luckiest person in Pern tonight? "Nothing!" Tylar countered, managing to stop laughing long enough to smirk in self-satisfaction. "Not a bit. Stole it from the kitchens." Then, to celebrate her good luck, she leaned in and kissed him, just long enough to tease him, make him want more. Of course, it left her head spinning too, and now she wanted more. But as far as she was concerned, that wasn't backfire, that was just an added bonus.

Rori kissed Tylar again. Her kisses felt good to him and her on his body would make his night.

"A greenrider stealing? Naughty. May I have another?" he asked. He tried to get up again. "I smell the alcohol to make it permiate through my body. It makes me more susceptible to suggestion. Not that I need it anyway but you never can tell and that much more aroused. You should try it." he chuckled, evilly. Mmm. He had a greenrider..how lucky can he get and a beauty to boot! He pulled her close to him as he yanked upwards. He laughed as he fell down again and she fell on him. He smiled and kissed her again.

During the kiss, he moved his hips upward slightly. He moaned low. He wrapped his arms around her and held this beauty. After the kiss, he caressed her back as he tried to get up again. He knew he could walk but the challenge was to get up. Luckly he saw be a chair. He grabbed the chair and pulled himself on to it.

"Wow. Never thought that drink would effect me -this- much!" Rori exclaimed. Once on the chair, he pushed up with his legs and then got up. "Come, love...to my place?" he chortled. He kissed her neck, softly as an incentive.

Late night of passion((Ty)) Empty Re: Late night of passion((Ty))

Post by Charm Tue Dec 29, 2009 2:07 pm

"Sometimes naughty is fun," Tylar purred, once they'd finished kissing. God, he was hot, and he was making her hot...heat spreading, tingling through her body....or was that just the drink? Probably both. She didn't care. It felt good. This Roridyn was certainly very...pleasing. She was distracted, but the sound of his voice again brought her out of an alcohol-influenced fantasy. He was explaining why he smelled the alcohol. More susceptible, eh? Sounded good to her - a more susceptible man was always a bonus, right? "Maybe I will," she agreed, narrowing her eyes at him impishly. "And maybe that's not the only thing I want to try."

The thought was evidently mutual; Roridyn pulled her close to him and Tylar expected another kiss. What she got instead was being yanked up with him as he tried to stand - another failure, obviously, because a moment later they were both falling, and landed in a heap on the ground. She couldn't help laughing at the result of that failed attempt, especially when she realized the wonderful position this put her in. Right on top of him, could she have asked for a better landing? Their eyes met, Roridyn's bright with want and glazed with the influence of the strong alcohol.

And then he kissed her again, and Tylar responded strongly, pressing herself against him. Fire, hot and wild, seemed to crackle around them, heating her skin, making electricity join the alcohol racing through her system. She felt Roridyn shift below her, felt his arms wrap around her, pulling her closer, which was absolutely fine because close was just where she wanted to be. Her groan mimicked his as they finally broke apart, and he sat them up. Wow. That was....wow. A year was way too long to go without any sort of action; she'd forgotten...

Roridyn was still caressing her as he sat them up and grabbed for a chair, and Tylar realized that her arms were wrapped around him, too. When he did manage to get on the chair, she was half in his lap and half trying to find her own footing. Things were starting to lose their focus; looking at Roridyn, even he was looking a little blurry around the edges. He exclaimed about the strength of the drink, which made Tylar chuckle. Quite amusing, watching him try to stand for himself with about as much success as an infant. Of course, she'd drunk more than him, so she probably wasn't any better.

All sense had officially left the diminutive greenrider as she remembered that the bottle hadn't quite been finished, and reached for it again, draining it. Obviously any judgement she may have had was gone, as she pondered how bad the alcohol was affecting her while she willingly drank more. Who cared, anyway? It was good. So...wonderful. The gulp that drained the bottle poured through her, swelling up inside her and making Tylar feel as if she must be glowing from the heat. "That's that," she quipped, giggling and letting the bottle slip from her hand to the floor, where it rolled off. She watched it go, amused.

Beside her she felt Roridyn manage to stand up, and seconds later felt his lips on her neck as he invited her to his place. Oh, she wanted nothing more. "Lead the way," she purred, turning to face him so she could kiss him. The world was a wobbly indistinct place, and she stumbled as soon as she moved away from the table, but it was into his solidness, which sent another stream of fire flushing through her system. For a moment a flicker of uneasy guilt stole through the drunken haze of her brain as she allowed herself to be led out of the Dining Cavern, but it was swallowed before it had begun, lost in oblivion. This night was going to be a fun one.

"Come, love. I will carry you." Roridyn said. He tried to picked her up and slipped on some loose gravel and down they went. He tried not to laugh but he just couldn't help himself, a burst of laughter sounded. It looked like Tyler didn't hurt herself much. He made sure that she landed on him and not the hard dirt ground. He grimaced as she fell on him. She wasn't heavy but the impact hurt. She landed on his stomach hard. Better him than that hard ground.

"Ow. That /really/ hurt! Better you fall on me than that." he pointed to the hard ground. He smiled at her. "Close your eyes, doll."

"Come, love, I will carry you." Carry her? He was going to carry her? Tylar erupted into bubbly drunken giggles at the thought, because it was so absurd. It wouldn't be hard for him, of course, her being so tiny - or at least, not if he was sober and could take more than a step or two without falling. She reckoned it would be like carrying a cat more than a human. Tiny, tiny her, barely more than five feet tall, but she liked her height. And he must, too, or he wouldn't think she was beautiful. He did think that, right? But yes - he'd said so, so he must think she was beautiful. Good. And she thought the same thing back - well, he was handsome, not beautiful. He wasn't a girl. Another burst of giggles followed the thought. God, she was so out of it.

Then he actually tried to pick hjer up, which Tylar knew was completely preposterous, them both being so drunk. Sober he could have managed it easily, but how was he possibly to manage it now? If they were both sober she still would have probably refused to be carried around, but now she was quite content to let him fail, apparently not grasping the concept that if he fell while holding her, she could get hurt too.

And of course her suspicions were correct: the moment he tried to walk with him in her arms, they both toppled over, and the greenrider was laughing right along with the inebriated man. Through some miracle - or just Roridyn's doing, though she didn't think of that - she fell on him and not the hard ground. The laughter didn't stop after impact; there was just something so funny about falling down. It was fun, as long as you didn't get hurt. Roridyn said he was hurt, but he was also laughing and smiling at her, so he couldn't actually be in much pain. "Knew you'd fall," she boasted, grinning.

Close her eyes? Why would she want to do that? But she consented, and realized that with her eyes closed she couldn't see the wobbly world, and it didn't confuse her. How smart of him. "Can we go now?" she asked, eager to be wherever he wanted them to be so that she could have more fun with him.

Roridyn smiled. He led her down to a single house, apart from the Weyr. He opened his door. "We're here. You can open your eyes now, love." Rori tried to sit on the bed but missed and again he fell. He laughed. He took off his tunic. He was a fine specimen of a human man. A body of a medium build one.

"I work in the mines. I'm 18 Turns old." He said as he approached her. He kissed her deeply and laid her of on the bed.
