Description: Nearly the stereotypical image of a bookworm minus the glasses, Hannah is paler in complexion then the average colonist. With her somewhat frail, tall and boney frame some time in the sun did her well before being put to work assisting in creating dragons. Emotions are normally kept to a minimal, and those that do sneak past are small themselves. Standing at 5’ 8” she is a little taller then the average woman.

Personality: a bit of a braniac she often has problems controlling it in the general public. Hence why she is mostly anti-social and enjoys amercing herself in work. However she is not afraid to try new things, if shyly and knows she will fail hopelessly. With the philosophy of ‘success is built on failure’ she can be quite determined which often leads some to be surprised.

History: Born in England Hannah was born with misunderstood gifts. Her family though over looked her eagerness to learn and she was left to find a way on her own. Pushing herself to be an over achiever, this alone was enough to get her isolated from most children. Thinking of interesting and meaningful extra credit projects became her hobby.

She had her name on the Pern colonist list nearly as soon as the list opened to public volunteers, at the time entering University to study biology with interests in ecological genetics. This proved quite useful to her on Pern, taking a junior role among the scientists. though not completely certified and never would be in documented sense, assisting and learning was the best she could do.

Untill Thread fell, Hannah hadn’t believed there was one organism that she would want to be fully eradicated for in an ecosystem everything had a purpose one way or another. Clearly she was wrong, revolted at the complete devastation and destructive force of the menace from space. It was much to her relief and delight that she was in the right profession to help bring a stop to Thread and save lives, if only assisting still. When it was all over and the eggs on the sands however, she was urged to try as a candidate so she may be able to experience the result of their hard work on behalf of the genetists.
