Description:
Tall at 6ft even, Jonas has an almost mischievous air to him despite the fact he is a noble gentleman who is not keen on practical jokes. Despite his slightly rugged look lies a handsome man with brown hair and stone blue eyes that reflect nothing but warmth and respect for those who know him. Those who don’t are often met with a cool but acknowledging gaze. He isn’t afraid to smile, whether it be well meant or false, he will smile regardless of his personal opinions of certain people.

Personality: Jonas is an easy man to get along with, he is noble and uphold all things virtuous. A true gentleman he will rise when a lady leaves and will gladly hold a door open or assist them with anything they need. To other men he is polite and respectful and will easily strike up conversation with them. He is a good fighter and fencer, and although he hates fighting will not hesitate to defend a woman’s honour or that of any man wrongly slandered. He doesn’t take jokes very well and will often be offended by jokers and people who don’t take their work seriously. One must earn his respect first before they are privy to any of his real emotions.

History: Jonas was highborn although his last name does not suggest that. His mother raised him to have the utmost respect in women and his father taught him how to fence and fight, yet at the same time both instilled morals into him that would influence his life and strengthen the ones already apart of his personality. He was 13 years old when they arrived on Pern and his parents raised him to be helpful and that just because one was born with status does not mean one needs to act it. He was one of those lucky few who when thread fell to survive, his parents did too, although they lost two of their daughters, one older and one younger than Jonas to the menace. 2 years on it still effects his family greatly though in some ways it has made them stronger too. His mother is expecting and Jonas himself made his parents proud when he was chosen as a Candidate to stand for the eggs made. The good morals and values instilled in him from his parents being the reason he was chosen.

Description: Mari is a small delicate thing, almost spidery in her body looking like the slightest breeze could tip her. Her hide is an even grass green with hints of new shoot green on her paws face and down her back.

Personality: She is a silly thing, silly as the proverbial green. A bit of a spaz too, she will go off at random things, that thing is every changing like her fears. One moment it will be the fork and the next day the fork will be fine but it will be instead the spoon that causes her fright. She fidgets something awful and is someone who hates to stay still, even when she is eating she is never still.
