Appearance: He stands six foot. He has long, straight, brown hair that goes to his mid-back and intense blue eyes. He wears a 'v' neck white tunic and brown tight trousers. He has soft leather boots on his feet. His skin is slightly tanned. He has a handsome face with shades. His legs, arms and fingers and long and slender. He has a twitch in his right eye due to nerves or excitement. He walks with confidence and with authority. He is handsome and some girls swoon as he walks by. He always makes sure he smells good to the ladies.

Personality: A ladies man. He is good with children, or so he thinks. He accepts change, just that it doesn't happen too fast. He is very patient and is protective over the young ones. He is very observant and loyal. He is told by his uncle this trait would work very well during sweeps.

He is very thorough, especially when it's his life at risk. Before he goes anywhere, he checks everything many, many time before going through. He is very meticulis about everything; everything and everyone has their place. Ladies, watch out for this one!! He's a looker and the quite the charmer. He'll romance the ladies and manipulate them into bed for those who aren't willing. He is a heartbreaker but that's only because what his mother tried to do to him.

History: Roridyn was from Earth. He was born in Montana. His father was a data anaylist for a big company. There was no mother, she left when he was very young. His father had raised him as best he could but sometimes it wasn't good enough. Without Dyn's mother, he hated to be alone. He was always afraid that his father would leave him as well. His father was transfered to Pern when Dyn was 10. His job was on one of the data collection teams, the one that analizing the different flora that were indigenous to the planet. They left for the shipping docks and boarded a ship bound for Pern. When they landed, his father and Roridyn got separated in the crowd. Dyn was looking at a picture that someone else had drawn his father didn't notice his son being gone until he worked through the crowd. He started look for his son, frantically and found him crying next to a guard.

"There's your father, son." the guard had said. His father was panic-stricken until he came up to the guard and hugged his son. The boy was crying, happy that he was with his dad again. His dad consoled the boy until he stopped crying. Once Dyn wasn't crying anymore, his father completed his transfer to be a data analyst for the data collection teams then he had to get clearance from the Geneticists and the Scientists.

At 13, Dyn's father and him went out for a hunting trip while waiting for his clearence to go through. His dad was gathering some wood and hunting. He stayed there cooking lunch and waited for his father to return. His father returned to him. The told stories by the fire and they ate his father's fresh kill. What they didn't eat, they threw it to the animals. His father said that it was useless to keep it. They would never finish it. Dyn enjoyed his time with his father as limited as it was.

At 15, his father's clearance finally went through and he went to work. It was lonely without his father to talk to him during the day. He stayed at home and kept up the house and the chores while he was away. It was then his mother had returned, drunker than a skunk. She tried to get her way with him but it didn't work. He pushed her away and ran. She ran after him, screaming. He ran into a military tent and told them of the lady that was running after him...and that she tried to force herself on him. The military ran out and stopped the woman and asked her what Roridyn accused her of and, still drunk, she admitted it and she found herself in a hole for at least for the night.

At 17, his father grew more into his work, just like on Earth. He was too busy for Roridyn. This put a damper on there relationship. With her mother trying to have her way with him and now his father is a workaholic again. With no mother and a father constantly at work, he began to have fun with the ladies.

Now, his father is still constantly doing late nights and even pulling overnighters. His mother is long gone by now and he is still quite the charmer for the ladies.
