Description: Short Blonde hair wisps about Beth’s serene face, she is one of gentle countenance and ever calm in her looks. Her blue eyes are bright and wide giving and allure of innocence. Skirts and Dresses are her preferred, staying to pale and sometimes pastel shade to suit her fair skin. There is always a gentle smile on her face, and while her slender figure isn’t the most womanly she is still growing into it, as with her height as she stands at 5’4”.

Personality: Beth is a curious creature, for she appears calm and gentle. Almost never offended and often blind to the faults of others or the dislike they may have for her. Inside though Beth is terrified, social situations make her nervous and as calm as she comes across will often stutter in her speech or stick to small replies. It is rare for her to initiate conversation on her own. She is a hard worker and does not mind taking care of or assisting in the teaching of young children.

History: Beth was a tender 8 years old when she came to Pern, her parents were both talented geneticists with little time for their young daughter who spend much of her life in the care of strangers and with her older sister Jane. As she got older she continued to gravitate towards the younger children and often assisted the teachers with them. A year after Landing her sister had a baby girl she named Callaghan though she gave no indication of who the father was till Beth was much older, Jane making her swear to never tell. She was 15 years of age when she was offered the chance to be an early age educator and assisting in the teaching of young children. Happily she accepted, feeling more herself and less nervous with the children than around other adults or adolescents. A year later she watched in horror as Thread fell, watching from the window of the metal building they had been locked in. She kept the children from the windows as best she could and even sang lullabies to them to pass the time till they were rescued. The horrors still haunt Beth now, not that she will ever talk about them though. Now 17 years of age she is a Early Age Educator to 10 children between the ages of 1 and 5. She adores her job and had promised the kids she will tell them all about the hatching when she goes. For the moment Beth has been caring for her sister Jane's daughter Callaghan, though recently the girl has become most determined to move in with her father now that she knew his idenity. This has become a bit of an awkward matter for poor Beth.
