I hate Technology.... I really do

Well this is and unfortunate turn of events.. [I am on my partner's laptop]..

My computers, both of them Chaos[the laptop] and Diiva[the desktop] are out of commission..

Chaos needs to go into the shop for a service to see if he is salvageable, and that I can get everything I have on him off of him. [I suspect he will need a replacement hard drive and that I may need to buy a new laptop when I have the money]. But as you all know he's been out of action for about a month now.


Diiva however seems to have caught a virus I just can't seem to get rid of no matter how hard I try.. [Just my luck she starts to stop working shortly after Chaos does].. As I want to install the beta/release candidate for Windows 7 on one of the computers Diiva is the one since we'll have to reformat both her Hard drives. Which here is hoping I will be able to rescue what I need from her before I do the reformat. Then I'll have to install the Windows 7 candidate on top of Windows Xp.

Since it seems I caught the virus from Facebook [as Houka said since she removed viruses she got from Facebook the last few weeks] I have found this wonderful thing for all you who have Firefox... Just go read this site and you will see what I mean.

So as it seems I am a virus magnet, I'm not going to be borrowing my partners laptop [Supernova] or his desktop [Obelisk] so we don't put them at risk too. So until such a time as both my computers or one of them are fixed. I won't be around.. I really hate that I can't be around for you guys, but unfortunately technology seems to hate me at the moment and so I have to... Hopefully everything will be up and running by the weekend at the latest..... if everything goes to plan that is..

*crosses fingers*

I'll see you all this weekend hopefully.. Oh and sometimes soon I'll be having an interview hopefully for a job as a medical receptionist, workings Wednesdays morning/afternoon, Friday [same as Wednesday] and Saturday mornings.. but as of yet no interview so no job.. But there is some hope for a job....

See you this weekend.... hopefully that is... here is hoping the computer gods fair me with my computers.

Ah, that really sucks. I am sorry.

Thanks for the linkie regarding FireFox. ^_^ I'll be sure to add it if and when I use FireFox. I currently use Chrome and I'm loving it despite the fact that sometimes it takes a while to load.
