Name: Jennifer Mirahza, Jen (but never Jenny)

Distinguishing features: Youthful looking; long hair; surrounded by dragonets

Hair Color: Deep brown and fairly long, with a few lighter streaks from sunlight

Eye Color: Brown

Description: Jennifer is rather short and lightly built. She is often mistaken as much younger than she really is, a fact which endlessly annoys her. She never quite grew out of the pudge of babyfat on her face; and she never filled out much as a woman after puberty. Her brown eyes are very intense and her lips are often squished together in a line as she thinks. She also tends to be a bit clumsy, stumbling over objects and her dragonets. On her back is a pack which often can be found her green dragonet, Ginger.

Personality: While Jen is not quite an airhead; she does tend to be forgetful about most things. She's always carrying a notepad in which to jot things down, to prevent forgetting, but even then it does not help that she forgets to check the notepad! She also has a habit of a one track mind; overlooking things that do not directly affect that which she has before her.

Given all that though; she can be quite fun. She is a bit shy but when she has her friends she loves to spend time with them, and of course she dotes on all her dragonets. She loves them and any creature, and does what she can to keep them happy. The same goes for people, aside from the people whom hurt animals, which she hates. But anyone whom cares for animals and is connected to one, from those whom are riders down to anyone with even a dog or cat, she can get along great with.

History: Born on a distant colony of human settlement, no one expected that Jennifer Mirahza would leave. But when she and her siblings were forced to evacuate by their parents due to conflict, they came back to Earth. There they were forced to live in a slum environment with other refugees. There was nowhere to go and nothing to do; but little Jen got close to some of the dogs and cats that lived there. When her family was able to leave the slum she kept up her associations with animals, and began to think of a career as a vet. Normal for a little girl, but it lasted all the way until she completed college.

In her last year of college Jen found out about the Pern exedition and figured she may as well go; because there would undoubtedly be a lot of pets about. She signed herself up and right as she graduated she hopped on board and was sent.

Pern held a few surprises; the least of which was not being the dragonets. The little creatures captivated Jen's mind and she became attached to a few of them, in particular her gold and two bronzes. A few years afterwards she wound up shifting her vet skills to entirely tending the dragonets, and helped others with them. She wound up surprise impressing her green, whom has a gimp wing thanks to a kick from another while hatching.

When thread fell for the first time and the call came for the firelizard and dragon programs, she got herself into the thick of it. She helped with keeping the dragonets calm during events, and finally afterwards she settled back into her life of caring for the dragonets.

Name: Vindeth

Species: Dragonet

Breed: Gold

Age: 8 Years (2 AL)

Description: Large and pale shaded, the color of a wheat field. Her body also has mottles of darker gold. She tends to be rather lithe for a dragonet; and a bit longer as a result.

Personality: Vindeth tends to be rather shy around most. She is usually the one Jen trips over the most as she walks around, never leaving her side too much, and always is looking about and shying away from strangers. She is also very dainty, carefully sniffing at things, even her food she lightly handles. However her clutches bring out the protector in her and she tends to be vary wary of anyone approaching her eggs.


Name: Bluster

Species: Dragonet

Breed: Bronze

Age: 8 Years (2 AL)

Description: Bluster is a small bronze and tends to have very wheezy breathing. In fact thats how he got his name, because when asleep and even sometimes when awake his breathing is audible. It was feared at first this was due to some lung problem, but so far it has not seemed to be the case. His hide is a deep burnished bronze, fading to extremely dark shades under his limbs and at his wingjoints.

Personality: Where Vindeth is shy, Bluster tends to be her opposite. He is very outgoing, often walking before Jen or at her side and welcomes pets from strangers, crooning at them in friendship. He likes to climb as well, getting atop cabinets, bookshelves, and anything else he can. All in all a very gregarious playful dragonet.


Name: Karee

Species: Dragonet

Breed: Bronze

Age: 7 Years (3 AL)

Description: Karee is more of a burnished bronze on his body, with his wings and back being a slightly darker shade, like that of aged metal which he gets his coloring type. His body is a bit short, stocky, and he tends to waddle when he walks, so whenever he has the room for it, he likes to fly instead.

Personality: With one word Karee can be summed up: Grumpy. He likes to do nothing other than eat, and when not eating he sulks around, glaring at people and other creatures. He is the one of Jen's impressed that does not get seen much, preferring to stay in her quarters and sleep on his bed. Or hers, if he can get away with it.


Name: Ginger

Species: Dragonet

Breed: Green

Age: 3 Years (7 AL)

Description: Ginger is an unusual green. During her hatching she was kicked accidentally by by another hatching dragonet and it shattered her wingbone. It healed but she can never fly, and gliding puts a big strain on her wing. She often is carried around in a pack on Jen's back, which allows her to keep up. Her colorations are that of a deep sea green, almost blue, and it turns to more of a yellow green about her jaw and tail.

Personality: Ginger is a lot like her father; whom happens to be Bluster. She is outgoing, friendly, and loves attention, but if someone other than Jen goes to touch her bad wing she will snap, which makes some wary of approaching her. She is fond of going outside though, and being helped into trees and other high places, because even if she cannot fly she loves the feeling of being up in the air.
