Description:
Tall at 6ft with leanly defined muscles, it was thanks to his mother he has the physique he does have. She was determined to train him in her historical speciality, of which has kept him in top physical condition. His blondish brown hair it short and neat if a little wild at times. His blue eyes are a deep colour and often hard to distinguish from a distance. He likes to wear loose clothing, and is often seen with Guinevere or teaching some children.


Personality: Stead fast and dependable. Though Arturius is quite hot headed and can be easily blinded by 'love' for a beautiful woman. He doesn't particularly like his name, but since it was given to him by his mother since her death he hasn't wanted to change it and has even come to treasure it. He doesn't mind teaching others what he knows and loves to go for long long rides with Guinevere. He's a natural born leader although he often cares too much about what others think of him than what is best to do. However with some guidance he will prove to be a fine leader.

History: The son of a Horse Breeder/Hunter and Historian, Arturius was named by his mother after one of her favourite legend. His twin sister named Avalon from the very same legend. Arturius is the elder of the pair but only by a few minutes as his sister was quick to follow him. From birth he and his sister were raised by their mother to be everything they were in legend. He was 11 when his mother birthed a girl she named Artemis, why it's not clear. Arturius was taught to fight from the moment he could walk and by his 15th year he was already a master of several swords. By his father he was taught to ride and hunt. His mother taught him everything he needed to know. No one really knows how this family came to be on Pern but they did. Perhaps is was his mother's overwhelming talent or his father's special horses and his hunting ability. It is not entirely clear but they made it anyway, he was almost 16 years of age when they arrived on Pern.

They settled in well and shortly after their arrival an arabian filly was foaled from his father's own stock. She was gifted to Arturius who under guidence of his father trained her. Her name came from her fairness which his mother complimented once. His father was proud of his son and Guinevere was the sweetest thing he could ever hope for. She became a favourite to the family even to his father. She was 5 years old when she foaled for the first time, and what a foal he was. Her son has grown into a handsome stallion. He was 18 when he began studying under his mother, something that much surprised her for she did not think her son would choose her career as his own. Though he specializes more in lifestyle than in history itself like his mother.

He was 21 years when he impressed a bronze dragonet he named Myrddin after a joke his mother made to him. No more than a year later did he come to impress a brown dragonet that came to be named Gawain, another by the joke of his mother. Then one day Thread fell, he was out in the pastures with Guinevere and her colt when it fell. It was through sheer instance by Myrddin and Gawain and the panic of the other horses that he made it to the cave. His sister Avalon following him with her stallion Gallahad. However Artemis was nowhere to be seen and nor were his parents. By the time it was over, they had lost everything but their father's prized stallion Caradoc. Their parents had perished trying to save the remaining horses. Their farm was in ruin and soon it was discovered that Artemis still lived and in fact was now pregnant at a tender age of 14, well as it turned out she had almost had the baby by the time they found out. She gave birth to a twins, both boys. She named Remus and Romulus. In this time everyone had moved to the Caldera, he moved there to. Though his twin Avalon stayed with the horses and ended up being invited to stay with one of the colonists on their ranch. Arturius has not heard too much on the 'Dragon Project' but he is eager to see how it turns out.

Description: Is smaller than Gawain being rather small for a bronze, he is a pale golden bronze of even shade and tone. He is slender almost frail looking with large parachute like wings.

Personality: Myrddin is a old soul of sorts, seeming much older than he is. He has a tendency to be able to make items appear out of thin air [is a quick retriever]. He is loyal and whilst doesn't always obey Arturius' every word he is always there to keep him or Gawain from trouble.

Description: Gawain is a rich chocolate brown with a spattering of light and dark chocolate over his hind quarters. He is rather large for a brown and likes to perch on Guinevere's saddle when she is being lead out of the stable. He isn't bulky but rather handsome with lean muscle.

Personality: Gawain is a friend to everyone, a defender of those weaker than him and a horrible ladies man and flirt. Anything female he will croon and fuss over. He is extremely loyal and will obey Arturius to the letter, even if it means passing up a good female.

Description:

Beautiful at 15hh she has a pale almost white coat. Her mane is a pale cream of a medium and well kept length. She has a large white patch of skin on the end of her nose.


Personality: Guinevere has become much loved among those who know her. She is often praised for her gentle and calm nature even in the face of danger. She is incredibly loyal and has a very desirable temperament. She a sweet doll, who is incredibly intelligent she happily greets anyone. She is often a favourite to use as a teaching horse.
