Description: Avalon isn't all that tall in fact she is rather average in height standing at 5'5". Whilst she doesn't entirely look like her brother they do carry some similarities. Their blue eyes for instance, both being of a dark hue they inherited from their father. Though Avalon's hair is more blonde than brown like her brother inheriting that from their father as well. She has a slender figure though she is more womanly in the chest than anyone in her family ever was. Her wavy blonde hair is kept short, just laying on her shoulders. She wears loose peasent blouse types of shirts with tight embroidered vests she makes herself. Her pants are a thick hide with enough flex and movement in them for her to mount Gallahad.

Personality: Avalon is calmer than her brother, she has great patience and is a cunning hunter. She was taught to be graceful and secretive by her mother and ever forgiving. By her father she was taught to be strong, wise and patient. She was given strong values of family and loyalty. She is her twin's counterpart, able to calm him and make him see reason as easily as she can manipulate him. Though that it something she doesn't do. Manipulation is not her favourite skill and she loathes to use it. She is the hunter, the wild woman of the wilderness. Avalon spends much of her days between her horses and her hunting for the Caldera, it is not strange to see her make several trips up and down with Gallahad. She is a resourceful woman who is establishing a trade network within the Caldera and Farms. Despite her intelligence and action, she finds it often hard to talk to people outside of what she does.

History: Avalon was born as a twin to Arturius and was named from the same legend as her brother was by their mother. She is the younger of the two of them but only by a few minutes. From birth like her brother she was raised to be everything like the isle of the legend. She took Violin lessons from age 3 and excelled in the intrument, as she did in singing lessons. She also was taught to ride by her father and became an excellent horsewoman. Her first love soon became Hunting and although her mother made her take sewing lessons to teach her to make her own clothing and tapestries and such she continued with her hunting. She was 11 when her sister Artemis was born. Being taught to hunt via traps and a composite long bow and short bow have made her a excellent archer most used to the moutainous and bushy terrain she grew up on. She was almost 16 years of age when she moved to Pern with her family.

It was around this time that she took great interest in the breeding of horses and followed after her father where as her brother took after her mother. Her brother was gifted with a gorgeous foal he named Guinevere whilst she was not gifted with anything. At the same time as Guinevere was born on of her fathers other mares birthed a male foal he called Caradoc, who later became his most prized horse.

Soon however she was helping her father with the books and at 20 years of age was given the privledge of choosing a breeding pair and keeping the foal as her own. So from her father's Australian Stock horses she chose Aduro, a beautiful cremello mare and Gwylliam a chestnut stallion. By her 21st birthday the foal was born. From that pairing came a Palomino colt she named Gallahad, though due to foaling complications his mother Aduro died and Avalon was to raise him herself. Due to this they have become incredibly close. Though Avalon did feel at fault for not being able to save Aduro, her father assured her that those things happened and that in Aduro's case couldn't be saved. To help his daughter cheer up he started teaching her to ride his prized Caradoc after seeing the relationship she had with him.

Then the day thread fell came, she had just recently started to getting Gallahad used to having a rider on him. She was leading him out to the patures when it fell. She owes her life to Gawain, her brother's brown dragonet who warned her and lead her to the caves where he brother was with Guinevere and her colt. There she took herself an Gallahad were they waited it out. When it was over it appeared they had lost everything but their father's prized stallion Caradoc who they were surprised to see alive. Their parents perishing trying to save the horses. Packing up what they could find they planned to make the move with everyone else and settle on a farm somewhere close to it. However they soon found out that Artemis their sister lived too and that she was pregnant, well almost in labour pregnant. Soon she had given birth to Romulus and Remus, healthy twin boys by the time they made it to the Caldera. Her brother Arturius moved into the Caldera partly to help out with Artemis and partly because he was interested in the 'Dragon Project'.

Avalon however with Caradoc, Gallahad and her brother's Guinevere in her care was invited to come and stay with one of the ranchers. She accepted and she happily lives there on a small farm just down the side of the volcano. She has begun regular hunting and Gallahad has proven to be an excellent horse to handle the rocky trek up and down from Caldera to the farm she lives on. On the odd occasion she uses Caradoc, but she finds Gallahad to be more sure footed on the rocky and brush covered slopes. Thankfully she has her fathers books and as it turns out found a few of mares and stallions from earlier breedings still alive. It was with permission she used one to cover Guinevere. She birthed a beautiful male colt who is nearing his 6th month. Her brother occasionally comes down to take her and the colt out for a ride or takes the long but safe track up to the Caldera for a day and lodges them in the stable there for the night before bringing them back down. Most Recently though Avalon has been responisble for setting up a trade system between the farms and each other and also the Caldera itself.

Description:

Gallahad is handsome Palomino who stands at 15.4 hands. He has a lighter cream mane and a light caramel coat with a dusty black nose and around his eyes. He carries one white sock up his left hide leg and a white blaze down his face. He is yet to sire any foals.

Personality: Gallahad is faithful and loving, he excells in endurance and over rocky terrain. He loves his daily rides with Avalon and is an excellent hunting horse. He will happily follow Avalon anywhere and everywhere. He will take wait for anyone who falls off him to remount before he walks home. He will even navigate home if Avalon falls asleep on him.

Description:

Caradoc is a large black bay Arabian standing at almost 16 hands. He has long black socks on all legs and a long black mane and tail. Regal in his appearence and demenor he carries himself with pride head held high. He has proved to be an excellent stallion to breed with. Has sired several foals.

Personality: Caradoc is a regal sort and arrogant. He is very particular with who rides him and who takes care of him. He does have a few favourites. Of those he trusts he will follow everywhere and do anything. To anyone else he will be stubborn and refuse care.
