Morgen is a tall man of 6'2" he has lean whipcord muscle and broad shouldered, he has a strong back and is quite strong himself. His skin carries a nice tan from his work and his curly dark brown hair is a little longer than ear length. He has a rough but neat beard which he trims with a straight razor he carries with him. He prefers slightly loose clothes which allow him movement and freedom, but he prefers his hide pants to fit a little more closer and comfortably to his body.

Personality:

A bit of a vagarant he has lived much the life of a loner since he arrived on pern. Being a hunter by nature as well as job he is a patient man, able to wait for long periods of time, but that's not to say he doesn't get excited over things, there are somethings which will have him grinning from ear to ear. Like a new discovery or the birth of new foals. Sometimes it can be simple things that excite him too. He's pretty calm of nature when not excited and incredibly intuitive and intelligent when it comes to hunting and people. He is also incredibly physical, he loves physical jobs and loves to be be busy, that's not to say he doesn't love hunt, no he has a special love for hunting and horses. He's not afraid to lend a helping hand and when he's not hunting he enjoys working alongside the Knights on their ranch.

History:

Morgen came to Pern as an almost 21 year old, he had been a hunter since his father taught him at a young age. His mother was Welsh hence his given name, however he took his father's english last name. He was 18 when he began a military career which didn't last long although he soon turned his attentions to becoming a weapons specialist on ancient earth weapons. Morgen has never touched a gun in his life, prefering blades and arrows for their silent killing ability. He was trained in all forms of bows and can use several blades. His favourite weapon is his recurve bow he finds excellent for hunting. He is a talented skinner and tanner and quite able to live life comfortably on his own.

He became good friends and hunting buddies with Llewellyn Knight [father to Arturius, Avalon and Artemis]. He was 25 when while assiting Llewellyn with his foaling mares he found himself being followed by one of the newborns who had been rejected by it's mother. It was then and there Llewellyn gifted him the filly and instructed that fate decided she go to him and to be kind to her. Thus Morgen hand reared the filly he named Emrys. She was almost 3 years when they left the Knight farm. He was invited to the first firelizard hatching from which he impressed a Brown he named Rhain, the brown was taught to help him hunt and became invauable to him.

He has Rhain to owe for saving his life, as he kept Morgen and Emrys from leaving the cave they had slept in for the night and had returned to to make food. Morgen never did see much of the devestation or witness any deaths, but he did however see the devestation it left behind. From then on he was a bit of a hand for hire, helping out where he could hunting to feed himself and others. It wasn't long before he heard the news on the Knights, he was thankful though at least Avalon and her brother survived. Since Avalon began a sort of Trading run between the Caldera and the farms he has been working for her in a way. Hunting for food and pelts to trade, or even working for nothing but a warm meal and bed.

Description: Rhain is a large brown with powerful muscle on a sleek form, he is a mottled brown like the undergrowth and thus blends in well when hunting small prey. He fits comfortably on Morgen's arm or shoulder and is marked with a band around one leg. He has a few hide adoring his wings and hide from some scuffles he has gotten into during a hunt.

Personality: He was trained much like a highly intelligent Falcon, precise and controlled by whistles. He will obey without question and dearly does love the hunt, almost as much as his love of shiney things which sometimes gets him into trouble. He is protective of Moregen and will nip at anyone he doesn't like.

Description:

Emrys is a 15.2hh mare, she is a glossy black with a long silky black mane, with a small white diamond almost in the middle of her forehead. She is built for endurance and maneuvering rough terrain.

Personality: Emrys is a spirited, intelligent and a fighter. She has a never give up attitude and Morgen is careful not to overwork her, as she just doesn't know when to give in. She will follow Morgen wherever he goes until instructed to stay where she is where she will proceed to wander in small circles till he returns. She is particular about who goes near her but she does have a soft spot for children.
